Breaking the Guinness World Record while ensuring multiple seamless experiences.
The launch of the much-anticipated OnePlus 6T in India was an event that went down in history. Two days after its launch announcement, over 559 gadget enthusiasts came together at Richardson & Cruddas in Mumbai to simultaneously unbox and experience the new OnePlus flagship – an event that set a new Guinness World Record. The participants became one of the first in the country to experience the brand’s most futuristic device to date.
The meticulously planned unboxing required a seamless synchronicity between all participants. All participating guests were received and briefed on-ground while trained managers were positioned at every table to ensure all OnePlus 6Ts were unboxed within the stipulated time limit of 5 minutes to be eligible for the Guinness World Record.
Guiding the participants through both, the nuances of the perfect unboxing experience and the stringent guidelines to setting a record, was the popular tech youtuber Gaurav Chaudhary aka Technical Guruji. Indian rap artist and musician, Brodha V set the perfect tempo for the high-octane event and the celebrations that followed.
