Martin da Costa arrived in India in 1995 from PMG London and established the Seventy Event Media Group – globally recognized as India's leading expert in luxury and special events planning, representing both Corporates and HNI’s from across the world. Martin is recognized as one of the pioneers of the Festival, Luxury Events and Destination Management industry in India. With offices in Mumbai and Delhi; today, 70 EMG has well-established individual business units – Seven Steps Wedding Management Services, The SET Concept & Design Services as well as its Intellectual Properties division.

70 EMG has established international standards of event design, hospitality management and event logistics management, and has played a pivotal role in establishing India as a global destination for high-level special event and destination management expertise. 70 EMG was a founder member of the Events & Entertainment Management Association of India. The company is also a member of International Live Events Association, and the International Festivals & Events Society.

Martin, in his individual capacity, set up Olive Bar & Kitchen in 2000 along with business partners AD Singh, Henry Tham, and wife Sagarika da Costa. He has since launched the Skoda Prize for Indian Contemporary Art, India Bike Week & the Zambhala Festival of Yoga & Life Spirit in India.

Xerxes Antia is the guardian of overall quality at 70 EMG. From high fashion to rural sampling, he is the undisputed king of budget management, production planning and event quality control. Xerxes has been responsible for developing and spearheading events like Remy Martin’s Global Launch Of Louis XIII’s ‘Rare Cask’, Channel V’s Indiafest, the Gem and Jewellery Export Council’s India International Jewellery Week and India International Jewellery Show, and a wide range of events for clients like Diageo, Star and Hindustan Unilever.

Though a taskmaster when needed, Xerx is a natural born leader and a gracious host.

Thanush Joseph, a veteran of 21 years in the company, is one of the founder directors of 70 EMG. He plays a pivotal role in managing the Brand Solutions, Business Development & Marketing and Seventy EMG’s Finance and Legal teams.

TJ – as he is affectionately known in the office – is passionate about automobiles of all kinds; he’s also a guitarist who loves his Blues and Rock. In fact, music is what brought TJ to 70 EMG which has its roots in Artist Management having launched and managed musicians like Lucky Ali, KK and Shaan & Sagarika in the late 90s. At 70 EMG, TJ leads the automobile industry practices and has been instrumental in securing many high-end accounts like Tata Motors, Jaguar Land Rover, Skoda, Mercedes-Benz, Harley-Davidson and Diageo. He has also been responsible for setting up the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, The Skoda Prize – India’s only Young Contemporary Art award and more recently India Bike Week – the largest gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts in India.

TJ brings together creative and strategic event and administration solutions to our roster of discerning clients. He has the ability to think through clients’ problems from both a theoretical and practical perspective, all dispensed with an easy going and friendly charm.

Kainaz Sethna is one of Asia's best special events and wedding planners. She is responsible for creating an entire generation of luxury event and wedding planners and was one of the first people who kick-started the trend of multi-crore wedding events now common across the country.

Immensely popular in office and with clients, Kai prides herself on being both seriously efficient and easy to work with. She has worked with some of the most discerning clients from across India and Europe – Mukesh & Neeta Ambani, Aamir Khan & Kiran Rao, Jay Mehta & Juhi Chawla, the Rosy Blue Group, Mahendra Brothers Family and the De Beer's Group, to name a few. She has flawlessly managed beautiful and spectacular weddings, private parties as well as special events for clients globally. Events of note include the Times of India Film Awards, South Africa India Film & Television Awards, Remy Martin’s Global Launch of Louis XIII’s ‘Rare Cask’ and Cartier Travel With Style Concours d’Elegance.

A mother of twins, she dexterously handles home as well as the most spellbinding special events all over the world.

Darayash Gocal has been the backbone of 70 EMG. With over 25 years of planning expertise, he is the man to be around when you want magic to happen.

Dara – as he’s affectionately known – has been the core force for some of the mega events and productions of 70 EMG. Be it festivals like IBW & Zambhala, Special Events like Travels to my Elephant & Elephant Parade, Cartier Travel with Style Concours d’Elegance or bespoke international weddings and Bollywood mega shows; Darayash masters the art of meticulous planning to ensure dreams come to reality. His calm demeanour, mantra of over producing and going the extra mile turns his clients into his fans and friends.

Dara currently heads Special Projects and also overlooks the Brand Solutions pipeline for 70 EMG.

Sushant started his career as a critical member of the production team in 2006, and in 2010 took up the challenge of setting up 70 EMG operations in Delhi. Determined, enthusiastic and of course courageous, his passion for events made him build a team ground up, making 70 EMG Delhi a successful business unit with much stealth.

From Production to Client Servicing and from Sourcing to Execution; he is a one-man band. The brands on his portfolio include Volvo Cars, Airbnb, Honda 2 Wheelers, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, and MG Motors.

When not at work, Sushant is passionate about travelling, networking and playing the PS4. More like, slaying the PS4.

Projects. Planning. People. These 3Ps are the elements in Subhashini’s brand of magic! Her nearly 2-decade journey with 70EMG has been about creating not ‘just events’ but experiences and memories.

A voracious reader with an eye for detail and a love for grammar, her wit and quick smiles are abundant even when she’s being a critique. Happy people, challenging projects, interesting clients and an incessant flow of ideas, keep her bringing that powerful emotion of passion onto the table every time.

When she’s not quoting Calvin or Dr. Seus, you’ll find her busy solving every jigsaw she can lay her hands on!

An Art Director, a hopeless romantic, an old-school Bollywood aficionado. Sachin began his imaginative journey as an Art Director in the ad and film industry, giving the world movies like Lakshya and the very cinematic, The Fall; post which he dove straight into the thrill of live events.

70 EMG got added to his story-line in 2005. And here he crafted some of the most iconic events: Honda Auto Expo, GQ Men of the Year, India Bike Week, and Goafest, to name a few.

Dada, as he’s fondly called in office, is inspired by everything around him, including the tales of history, architecture and geometry. All of which fuels his love for sketching, with old melodies and motivational songs for company.

One of the pillars of 70 EMG, Anil has been leading our league of extraordinary gentlemen since 2004.

A thorough gentleman; his aura oozes all the colours of calm, just like his presence; producing massive events and festivals with utmost ease. Anil’s true depiction of the 70 EMG spirit – calm, confident and empathetic (towards colleagues and team members alike who look up to him and aspire to be like him).

He loves challenging himself and his achievements with every next gig; establishing India International Jewellery Show, the largest jewellery show in Asia, and keeping its awe-inspiring stride in check, proves just that.

When he’s not superhero-ing on ground, he pumps himself up by travelling, exploring new locations and different food cultures with his friends and family. And one thing he is seriously passionate about is sleeping, of course. Every superhero needs a snooze.

Our Master designer would have been a Master Chef in another life. Curating and creating masterpieces on the plate is one of her favourite things in the world.

Having been with 70 EMG since 2006, one constant has been her want to challenge herself, upping the ante with every project and creating milestones along the way: Cartier Travel with Style Concours d’Elegance and McDonald’s India Family Wedding in Bahrain, are some of her notable projects.

Her true want from every gig is quite simply a happy client. Making a dream come true gives her dreams a flight. Our happy bunny, Baneet, backpacks her way through different corners of the continent spreading smiles.

Mansi began her career with 70 EMG in Mumbai and in 2010 marched to Delhi to stir things up. With such many years of experience dabbling with clients of every kind, she’s a complete go-getter, and that too a patient one.

She’s known to talk the talk and walk that walk; and also shop in every shop, quite literally. It’s not easy to find project leaders like her – the kinds that smile through all the challenges and pull it off effortlessly.

An avid listener, a team player and a people’s person, you’ll find her watching documentaries on historic events in her lazy time, while planning her own historic adventures on the side.

In 2001, Deepak joined the teething family of 70 EMG to set up the commercial department from ground up. He laid the foundation to help us build our own little empire.

The man with the widest smile, he’s been a pure leader and mentor to his team, helping each one grab the reins of their life and get riding to a successful career path.

His true belief in community and family has set his brilliant mind on a mission to build self-reliance and improve the quality of education amongst the youth, all starting from his native town. Deepak sure knows how to tip the scale of success, one person at a time.
